Market Day

Yesterday was market day in Namche. Back in ’88 and ’02, there were lot’s of (pretty wild looking) traders from Tibet here, but apparently the Chinese have closed the border and they no longer come. A bit of a shame, but it’s nice to see that the market still caters to locals, instead of selling souvenirs to trekkers. Here are a few pictures:

Finn is eating more every day, today he even had some corn flakes (no milk) for breakfast and then found some tangerines in the market:
